Application deadline is June 16, 2017. Approval notification by first week in July 2017. Orientation August 8 and course begins August 15, 2017. Upon selecting the course, you’ll receive an email that outlines the application requirements.


Classes are Tuesdays, 5:30-8:30pm, and one Saturday a month.

Includes: Online Medical Terminology (6 weeks), Clinical Medical Training (24 weeks) Introduction to Phlebotomy Training and CPR/First Aid/AED (one, 4-class). Minimum of 40 clinical experience hours during the course.

This certificate offers comprehensive preparation for careers in the maintenance of electrical and manufacturing systems. The program provides the necessary theory while emphasizing hands-on equipment operation of critical electrical power systems. Electrical and the associated electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and applications are covered. Graduates are typically employed as plant maintenance technicians, power plant operator/maintenance technicians, plant electricians.

The program credits can be applied towards the following degree programs: Vermont Technical College’s A.S. in General Engineering Technology (GET) which leads to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Technology & Management (ONLINE) or the Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing; Community College of Vermont’s A.S. in STEM Studies
