Digital Video Production

Digital Video Production focuses on communications in a digital world, with an emphasis on art and design. Effective communication includes pictures (moving and still), the spoken word, music, graphics, and text. Combining these elements convincingly and incorporating transitions, volume, timing, and tempo adds new dimensions to the art of communication. Digital Video Production provides training in pre-production, production, and post production. Students will learn about planning, camera operation, sound, lighting, directing, on-camera presence, editing, and script writing. Students in Digital Video Production will learn how to communicate their messages by creating products in different genres of video.
